2. Grass and dirt stains
Rub methylated spirit or white vinegar with a sponge on the fabric to remove the stain and then soak it in cold water for fifteen minutes. Now wash the garment with a mild detergent.
3. Marker and ink stains
The best way to remove these stains is to take equal quantities of white vinegar and isopropyl alcohol and soak the stained part of the garment into this solution for ten minutes. If the solution darkens in color but the stain is still visible, throw away this mixture and replace it with a new mixture and again soak the stained fabric for ten minutes. Now rinse the fabric with hot water and launder the garment.
4. Greasy stains
Before trying to remove the stain, brush away the food particles stuck on the fabric with the help of a paper towel or a clean cloth. Now sprinkle some baking soda on the stained area. Leave the garment this way overnight. This will help the baking soda absorb all the grease from the stain. Now brush the baking soda off the fabric. Drizzle the stain with a dish washing detergent and scrub it into the stain. Wash with hot water.
5. Ketchup stains
Ketchup stains are quite tough and should be cleaned as quickly as possible. Scrape away the ketchup from the fabric first. Now use a mild detergent and cold water to remove the stain. Scrub vigorously as ketchup stains are very stubborn.

The best way to clean blood stains is to soak the clothes in very cold water with a little salt and then scrub with a good detergent.
7. Chewing gum stains
To remove chewing gum from a garment, place an ice bag over the stuck gum and wait till it hardens. Now you can easily remove the chewing gum.
8. Berry stains
To remove berry juice and jam stains, soak the garment for 10 minutes in a mixture of water and vinegar in the ratio of 2:1. Wash as you normally do.

Wash in warm water with any washing detergent with enzymes.

Scrub the paint stain on the garment with glycerin soap and rinse with very hot water.
